Summary Committee told the bench that the price of stents can be brought down from 3 lacs to 1 lac.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Committee comprised of senior doctors formed by the Supreme Court has told the 3-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) that the price of stents can be brought down from 3 lacs to 1 lac.
Expressing jubilation at the findings of the report, CJP said that the committee has done an invaluable service to the whole nation.
The bench ordered that the report be sent to the ministry of health, Drug Regulatory Authority and the secretaries of health department and their opinion on the matter be submitted within 10 days.
The hearing was adjourned for 10 days.
