A three-member bench headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal conducted hearing of the case.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhry on Monday appeared before the Supreme Court without his lawyer in contempt of court case.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal conducted hearing of the case.

On court’s inquiry, Talal Chaudhry told that he has submitted his written reply however; his lawyer failed to appear due to being on leave. He said that an adjournment plea has been submitted in this regard.

Justice Ejaz Afzal asked, “Till when will your lawyer be available?” Talal Chaudhry responded that he will attend the hearing after March 5.

The court while accepting his plea adjourned the hearing till March 6 over non-availability of defense lawyer.

Talking to media outside SC, Talal Chaudhry said that Robert Redley’s statement in NAB reference against Sharif exposed the NAB department.

He maintained that such incidents have also happened in the past which caused loss to the country.

“We visit courts all day seeking justice and are sure of receiving it. Punjab bureaucracy has done a lot. Those accomplishing power projects should be rewarded and not given punishment,” he said.

Criticizing Imran Khan, he said that a spiritual guide is present at his house therefore; he should ask her about the whereabouts of Faisal Subhan.
