Lahore: Police truck crushes motorcyclist to death
A first-year student was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by a truck in Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A first-year student was crushed to death by truck of Vehari police in Garden Town area of Lahore on Friday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, first-year student Ahtesham Arshad was going on his motorcycle along with his friend Ameer Hamza when the police truck hit their motorcycle, killing Ahtesham on the spot and wounding Hamza.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to Jinnah Hospital. Police sources said that Ahtesham was first-year student of a private college and was resident of Sabzazar.
Police have arrested the truck driver and also confiscated the truck. Further investigation is underway.
