Asma case: Murderer still free on 18th day as authorities wait for forensic report
Four-year-old Asma was killed after rape in Mardan.
MARDAN (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police are on Wednesday still unable to nab the murderer of four-year-old Asma who was killed in Mardan after rape as 17 days have passed.
Mardan DPO told that the authorities are waiting for forensic report. He said Asma’s death did not occur due to poison. The DPO further added that DNA samples of 240 suspects have been taken so far.
Asma had gone missing on January 14 in Mardan’s Gujar Garhi area, and her dead body was found from sugarcane fields near her home on January 15 after rape.
