Body of the MQM-London leader was found in his car with no torture marks
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to a new medical report, Professor Hassan Zafar died from natural cause, refuting the claims of murder through poisoning.
Body of the MQM-London leader was found in his car with no torture marks more than a week ago. Both autopsy report and chemical analysis report confirmed that the cause of death was natural.
The reports confirmed that there is no evidence of unnatural death or poisoning. It was told that Prof. Zafar suffered from heart disease and had a bypass in past.
Different parts of the body were checked in the chemical investigation report. Postmortem report too declared the death to be natural. After concerns were raised over the autopsy report, Zafar’s body was sent for chemical tests. Both tests confirmed the death to occur from natural cause.
However, questions over how Zafar’s body was found in his car and located in vacant area remain there. he was reported missing a few days before his death.
Eight months ago, Dr Zafar was released on bail by a court in Karachi in MQM founder s anti-Pakistan speech case. He was associated with department of philosophy in Karachi varsity and had joined MQM-London in 2016 after his retirement. He grew to be a known face of the political front and was held in October 2016 in August 22 speech case. However, he was granted bail after nine months in prison.
