Body of MQM-L's Dr Hassan Zafar recovered from car in Karachi
No marks of torture are present on the body which means that the death could be natural.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Body of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) leader Dr Hassan Zafar was recovered from a car’s back seat in Karachi’s Ibrahim Hyderi area today (Sunday).
According to details, no marks of torture are present on the body which means that the death could be natural.
The officers said that the corpse has been shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Collegefor postmortem after which cause of death will be confirmed. They said that investigation from Hassan’s relatives has also been launched.
The officers have also started monitoring from CCTV footage to unearth the reality while they said that MQM leader went missing last day.
Dr Zafar was reported missing on Saturday over eight months after he was released on bail by a court in Karachi in MQM founder s anti-Pakistan speech case.
He was associated with department of philosophy in Karachi varsity and had joined MQM-London in 2016 after his retirement. He grew to be a known face of the political front and was held in October 2016 in August 22 speech case.
However, he was granted bail after nine months.
