Following Quaid's teaching, we can keep country strong, safe: COAS

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Monday has paid tribute to Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on his 142nd birth anniversary.
In a message, the army chief said, “His vision of human values, social justice, equality and fraternity constituted motivation for creation of Pakistan. Following the same we can keep Pakistan safe and strong.”

On the other hand, the nation is celebrating the day with renewed commitment to work hard for realization of the ideals he envisioned for Pakistan.
National flag is being hoisted at all public and private buildings.
The day dawned with a 21-gun salute in the provincial metropolis while change of guards ceremony was also held at the tomb.
