(Dunya News) – It is said that there are no enduring friends or enemies in politics, with the future being far more important than consistency. And this is why with the elections of 2018 approaching, political activities across the country are at their peak.
As the temperature is dropping across Pakistan, the political heat is rising to a new high. Not only are age old rivals seen befriending each other, but some new political alliances are also being made.

Setting aside differences, while on one hand Tahir ul Qadir of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) is joining hands with Pakistan Peoples Party, Karachi’s politics on the other hand, also seem to be witnessing a new turn of events. Not only is Qadri meeting Mustafa Kamal of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), but the PSP chief is also being contacted by Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf, Imran Khan.
While Imran Khan and Tahir ul Qadri are already known for being ‘political cousins’, new alliances are also gradually appearing to be forged.
In the ongoing season of political meetings, Siraj ul Haq hasn’t missed his mark either. His meeting with Imran Khan has also added to the rising political fever.
