Summary Federal drug inspector has penned letter to DRAP in this regard.

LAHORE (Dunya News)- Life-saving drug of cancer, for treating brain tumors, costs nearly 10 times higher in Pakistan when compared with neighbouring India, reported Roznama Dunya on Friday.

This was informed by federal drug inspector in a letter to Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP).

As per details, Indian company Temoside exports these drugs to Pakistan. The price of the Temoside-- for five capsules of 100mg medicine-- ranges between INR Rs3000 to INR Rs5000 in India while the same is being sold in Pakistan at whooping Rs31000.

DRAP has directed company concerned to share a copy of medicine’s registration, three last invoices for the import of medicine and details of same drug manufactured in India being sold by same company.
