'Result Transmission System' experiment was a success: EC
The system was experimented as a pilot project in PS 114 Sindh bye-elections.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza has congratulated the concerned staff on the success of Result Transmission System (RTS) used during NA-4-Peshawar by-election for announcement of poll result.
He said that the result from the first polling station was announced through mobile at 6:00 on Thursday. He further said that all media groups followed the Election Commission for announcement of polling result.
Chief Election Commissioner congratulated the Election Commission team operating the Result Transmission System during NA-4 by-election and added that this system will ensure transparency and impartiality in elections results.
He further said that this system will boost the confidence of the masses as well as the candidates contesting the election. It is pertinent to mention here that the system was experimented as a pilot project in PS 114 Sindh bye-elections.
