Lahore: One killed as speeding truck hits motorcycle
Police impounded the truck and also arrested the driver from the accident site
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A speeding truck rammed into a motorcycle near Underpass at the Mall Road on Wednesday, killing the motorcycle rider on the spot, Dunya News reported.
According to eye-witnesses, the brakes of the truck failed due to over-speeding and it hit the motorcycle from behind. The motorcycle rider suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot.
Police reached the spot after getting information and impounded truck and also arrested the driver from the accident site. The identity of the deceased is not yet known. Rescue teams have shifted the body to the dead house.
