Perception of Rangers' deployment stemming from police-lawyers brawl: Kamran Khan
Talal Chaudhry said action would be taken against those involved.
KARACHI (Dunya News)- Senior analyst and anchorperson Kamran Khan on Friday termed police-lawyers brawl as embarrassment for local administration.
“Against the backdrop of yesterday’s brawl, the perception of deploying rangers for security purpose of accountability court is once again stemming,” added Kamran.
Dunya News correspondent, while summing up the whole incident, stated that police barred those lawyers who did not have passes and this resulted in ugly spat.
“Later, Capt (rtd) Safdar and lawyers entered court and told the judge that they would not let proceedings begin till he (judge) did not listen to them (lawyers). Upon this, judge asked them to submit written plea but lawyers started rukus resulting in adjournment of proceedings,” stated Amir Saeed Abbasi.
Giving official stance, state minister Talal Chaudhry said action would be taken against those involved and would not allow anyone to take law into his hands.
