Summary Those raising slogans in Supreme Court against corruption are 'wanted' by courts, says Marriyum
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb has on Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan first did betting for funding his party and then claims that he didn’t bet but advised his brother-in-law only, reported Dunya News.
Marriyum said that those raising the slogans against corruption in Supreme Court are ‘wanted’ in courts. She said that Imran Khan would abuse the institutions, ridicules them, runs from courts and then apologises. She said that Imran Khan did nothing during the last four years except weakening the institutions. “Just to save their own corruption, PTI has kept the accountability commission in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) locked up till this day”, he said.
Marriyum said that the sharif family had set a new example by following the law in the cases against them; they took the legal and constitutional road against the court decision.
She said that Sharif family enjoyed all the rights that any other Pakistani enjoyed and the constitution of Pakistan will have to preserve their legal rights as well. “Entire nation is raising questions over the case that began from Panama and ended up in ‘iqama’”, Marriym said.
