Fire breaks out in Karachi's Abbasi Shaheed Hospital
The cause of the blaze was an electrical short circuit.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A fire erupted on Friday on fourth floor of Karachi’s Abbasi Shaheed Hospital situated in the Paposh Nagar neighborhood of Nazimabad.
A vehicle of fire brigade arrived at the location on receiving information. Volunteers immediately begun rescue efforts and doused the fire that broke out in the trauma centre.
Medical Superintendant Dr Anwar said that the floor was filled with smoke after the fire due to which the distressed patients were shifted to another ward.
The MS said that the cause of the blaze was an electrical short circuit.
