ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday has suggested to form larger bench to hear Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif’s Iqama case.

Lawyer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar filed a petition, requesting to launch quo warranto investigation against the foreign minister. He also urged the court to disqualify Asif under Article 62 of the Constitution for concealing his income.

Justice Amir Farooq recommended formation of larger bench and sent the matter to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar.

Earlier on July 25, Usman Dar claimed that Kh Asif did not declare income earned from Iqama in wealth statements which were submitted before Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in 2013.

The PTI leader also shared picture of Khawaja Asif’s United Arab Emirates (UAE) Iqama.
