Summary Issuance of a duplicate ticket would cost the customer ten percent of the cost
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has launched a duplicate ticket system of railways on Monday and said that seven decades have passed, there should be no ill-motive to hinder one another’s efforts for whatever cause.
Rafique addressed a press conference in the provincial capital of Punjab and urged politicians to abstain from mudslinging and offer criticism which is always welcomed.
He claimed that the railways was made free of nepotism and recruitments were done on merit under his command. Azaad Train was a symbolic promotion of Pakistani culture, he said.
Rafique said that the department would not tolerate any hindrance put up to avoid transfers and fresh postings of the employees.
The federal minister launched a duplicate ticket system of the railways today and on the occasion, he said that issuance of a duplicate ticket would cost the customer ten percent of the cost.
