Summary State Bank of Pakistan announced public holidays during Eid-ul-Adha in latest press release
(Web Desk) – State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced four public holidays from 1st to 4th September, 2017. The central bank will remain closed during Eid-ul-Adha holidays announced by the government.
In a press release on Monday, SBP said, “The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed from 1st to 4th September, 2017 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.” Apart from SBP, all banks, development finance institutions and microfinance banks will follow the same pattern.
Government of Pakistan had earlier announced Eid-ul-Adha holidays from September 1 to 4 which have now been adopted by all government institutions of the country. All educational institutes and public offices will also remain closed during holidays specified for the religious festival.
