Summary Foreign minister said that his government knows how to handle a crisis, won’t let it affect economy
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif on Sunday said that he would discuss United States (US) President Donald Trump’s statement in National Assembly next week.
While talking to media, Asif said that Pakistan rendered countless sacrifices in the war against terror. “Our economy suffered due to this war, no other country gave so many sacrifices to curb terror,” he said.
He said that Pakistan would not stop its indiscriminate targeting of all banned outfits to eradicate terrorism from her soil. The foreign minister said that United States new policy on Pakistan, Afghanistan and South Asia is being overviewed.
“Pakistan is a peaceful country and wants friendly ties with her neighboring countries,” he said. He said that he would tour regional countries after parliamentary sessions next week.
