Summary Technocrat set-up will comprise of judges, journalists, former generals and politicians.

KARACHI (Dunya News)- Ostensibly, it seems that invisible forces in Pakistan are mulling to derail the democratic process in bid to place a technocrat set-up for an interim period of two-three years to expedite ongoing accountability and reform process, reported Roznama Dunya on Saturday.

Technocrat set-up will comprise of judges, journalists, former generals and politicians.

Sources privy to development told our correspondent that top brass of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would be completely kept out of the proposed set-up whereas individuals and groups, who would split from their respective parties and gather on joint platform of Pakistan Muslim League, would be given priority.

Sources further narrated that 2018 polls would only be held if newly formed PML (for whom Ch Shujat has already initiated efforts) garners strength, otherwise, elections would be postponed for two-three years.

Ch Shujat Hussain claims that he is in contact with MPAs and 15 MNAs of ruling party.

Inside-aware stated that legal action against Asif Ali Zardari and Imran Khan is also on cards.
