Lahore: Youth killed in truck-motorcycle collision
A 22-year-old boy was killed when a truck hit his motorcycle at the Lahores Ferozepur Road.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A 22-year-old boy was killed when a truck went out of control due to over-speeding and hit a motorcycle in Ichhra area of Lahore on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a speeding truck hit a motorcycle at the Ferozepur Road near LOS Stop in Ichhra area, killing 22-year-old Zawar on the spot.
The tragic accident infuriated the residents of the area who staged a protest against truck driver’s negligence and placed the dead body of the youth on the road and blocked it for all kind of traffic.
A heavy contingent of police reached the spot after getting information and arrested the truck driver. Police also held successful negotiations with protesters after which they dispersed peacefully.
