Summary PTI had announced symbolic demonstrations in several cities, demanding PM's resignation.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken back its announcement to hold symbolic protests in various cities across the country to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The decision to call off protests came right after media reported that Panama case verdict will be announced today (Friday). The original 5-member bench including Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and Justice Gulzar Ahmed will announce the decision at 11:30 am today.
PTI leaders had previously announced that they will arrange protest camps ib different cities across the country from today. Their aim was to force PM Nawaz resign before the Supreme Court gives its final verdict.
Meanwhile, several PTI leaders have claimed that the press conference of Chaudhry Nisar on Thursday has damaged the ruling PML-N as he announced to resign the day SC announces Panama case verdict.
