Summary PTI chief has branded Nawaz Sharif a hurdle in struggle against corruption

NOWSHEHRA (Dunya News) – Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan has said on Friday that larger bench of Supreme Court did not entertain Qatari prince’s letter in Panama Leaks case which means that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is not righteous.

Khan addressed a rally in Nowshehra today and in his address, the PTI chief said that he would have had good terms with the premier if he was not corrupt. He said that protests and rallies of PTI do not aim at showing the PM ‘less’ of opposition parties but to get Pakistanis due respect internationally.

He branded Nawaz Sharif a hurdle in struggle against corruption.

Khan said that he joined politics to make Pakistan a country like the one dreamt by its founder Jinnah and visionary Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Khan said his aim is not to secure premiership but to better the country.

PTI chief said that he opposes tenure of Ayub Khan in the past but he enjoyed respect whenever he travelled to the United States, unlike Nawaz Sharif. The premier has to carry written notes to converse with US president, Khan said citing his meeting with former POTUS Barack Obama.

Pakistani government is looking for more aid across the world and corruption has hollowed the country, he added.
We are a nation in huge debts, Khan said.

PTI chief said that Federal Minister for Finance, Ishaq Dar was asked by International Monetary Fund in a meeting held in Dubai to impose more taxes worth Rs 40 billion. Money laundering worth USD 10 billion is carried out every year causing the rulers to seek more loans, he added.
