Summary The workers won't succumb to threats: Faisal Vawda
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and those of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf confronted one another with slogans on Sunday outside Karachi Press Club.
Activists of the two political organisations chanted slogans against one another in a standoff prompting the administration to deploy police at the press club.
Reportedly, workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had staged a protest at the site against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif causing supporters of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to put up a confrontation to counter ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogans.
However, the situation remained under control plausibly owing to administration’s timely call to police.
It should be mentioned here that Imran Khan, Chairman of PTI is to address a rally in the metropolis today. Earlier in the day today, Khan convened meetings with leaders of PTI in the city.
