Summary Mateen Ahmed addressed Potsdam Central School students in New York.
POTSDAM (Web Desk) – Mateen Ahmed, the Army Public School (APS) attack survivor, addressed Potsdam Central School students in New York (NY) and told them education is the key to eradicate terrorism.
Mateen is studying at Indian River High School as foreign exchange student, and visited Potsdam Central School to walk them through the terrible day of December 16, 2014.
Mateen Ahmed affirmed that terrorism has nothing to do with Islam, and the militants are giving a bad name to his religion.
He answered the questions from students as well as staff, and many of them stayed to meet Mateen after his presentation.
It is worth mentioning here that 148 students, teachers and staff were killed in the APS terror attack, and over 100 others were injured. Many of the victims and injured were close friends of Mateen.
