Summary Revised code of conduct has been released by the varsity administration today

(Web Desk) – Revised code of conduct released by administrative body of Punjab University on Wednesday bars entrance of all notable figures belonging to political, social and religious bodies.

The revised laws bound parents to provide a testimony, asserting their children’s non-involvement in political and other affairs of confrontational nature.

Heads of departments are now bound to forward details of aggressive students to the administration.

Sloganeering on the campus has been banned as well and students can no longer organise events without due permission. No resident student will now be permitted to have his or her guests stay in the hostel.

The administration has warned the students of stern action in case of any violation.

The revision of the code has come in a week after activists of Islami Jamiat Taleba clashed with Pashtun students who had organised an event over a traditional celebration.

After a First Information Report was lodged in the following days against 200 unidentified persons, police had held four students at Islamic Centre Hostel.

Gatecrashing of baton-wielding Jamiat students had left ten injured on March 21.
