Baby born with rare birth defect to undergo surgery
Doctors said that the child is suffering from rare Omphalocele disease.
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – The baby born with heart outside his body in Shujabad area will undergo surgery at Lahore’s Children s Hospital and Institute of Child Health.
According to details, doctors had suggested operation to place the heart inside infant’s body and said that if all goes well then the child will live a healthy life.
Doctors said that the child is suffering from rare Omphalocele disease.
Meanwhile, baby’s parents thanked Roznama Dunya for bringing the issue into limelight because of which the doctors have cooperated with them.
On the other hand, international media gave coverage to the Shujabad baby boy who was born with heart outside the body.
The Indian Express posted the story with headline “Infant born in Pakistan with heart outside body”.
The Gulf New covered the issue by writing “Baby born in Pakistan has heart outside body”.
