COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said every possible help will be provided to administration

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has on Tuesday said that army will provide every possible help to the civil administration in order to ensure peaceful arrangement of Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore, reported Dunya News.

Talking to the family of martyred police officer Captain (r) Ahmed Mobin, General Bajwa said that terrorists will not be tolerated and will be pursued to the end. He added that operation against terrorism will continue unless it is eradicated from the society.

Army chief was briefed earlier today upon his arrival in Lahore after cutting short his Karachi visit. He was told during the briefing that PSL final was scheduled to be held in Lahore later this month and the blast yesterday was an attempt to foil it. He said that every possible help should be provided to the civil administration in order to ensure successful arrangement of the event in Lahore as per schedule.

He was also told during the briefing that the people arrested after the terrorist attack last night included a few Afghan nationals as well.

Army chief told the family of the martyred police officer that Ahmed Mobin’s sacrifice would not go in vain.
