COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa ordered local army commanders to conduct rescue services

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday condemned the blast in Lahore which claimed several lives. The blast occurred at Charing Cross of Lahore Mall Road.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief expressed grief over the loss of valuable lives and ordered local commanders to conduct rescue services at the spot and transfer the victims to nearby hospitals.

Moreover, he asked intelligence agencies to trace down those responsible. He ordered full cooperation with the civil administration in order to arrest the terrorists involved in the savage attack.
