Summary Indian SC tries to bring Kashmir under Indian constitution, Yasin Malik rejects court ruling
SRINAGAR: (Dunya News) – Kashmiri freedom leader Yasin Malik has on Sunday said that the court and parliament of India couldn’t alter the disputed status of ‘Indian Occupied Kashmir’. Yasin Malik rejected the Indian Supreme Court’s (SC) ruling as it tried to bring Kashmir under Indian constitution, reported Dunya News.
Indian SC is trying to bring Indian Held Kashmir under Indian constitution. But Yasin Malik firmly rejected the attempt. In a press release, Malik said that no parliament or court could alter Kashmir’s disputed status.
He said that Kashmir was an internationally recognised disputed issue and even India’s first Prime Minister Javaharlal Nehru also admitted as one. He said that Kashmir couldn’t be made a part of India with any court ruling of legislation.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Indian SC had ruled that the Indian Held Kashmir wasn’t out of the boundaries of Indian constitution.
