Summary Three detained dacoits involved in Millat Park robbery were killed in police encounter in Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least four dacoits were killed in an alleged police encounter near Sagiyan Pul in Lahore on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, CIA Iqbal Town police along with three dacoits, arrested for killing five people during a robbery attempt in Millat Park, went to Sukheke to recover looted valuables. The police party and under-custody dacoits were on their way back when four persons riding on motorcycles opened fire at the police mobile in attempt to get free their accomplices from police custody.
The three dacoits present in police mobile named Zahir Abbas alias Bassu, Zahid Ali and Jahangir alias Bhola were killed by firing of their own accomplices. Police returned the fire and shot dead an attacker while three other managed to escape.
