Summary Imran Khan has sought the government to take every possible step in the matter: minister
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has refused on Sunday to permit hunt of rare breeds of birds including Houbara Bustard by stating that stern action will be taken against violators.
Provincial minister for forests has said that the government would not turn the province into hunting ground on anyone’s wish.
Ishtiaq Armar, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) said that license of hunting is provided under rules and regulations. Every province was entitled to its rights after 18th Amendment in the Constitution of Pakistan, he said.
Armar said that Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has sought the government to take every possible step to ensure protection of rare breeds of birds.
Earlier this month, Qatari prince among 13 members of royal family were received at Allama Iqbal International Airport by Hussain Nawaz who after having lunch with Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind, left for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to hunt.
