Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that he paid 1.1 million rupees income tax during 2008-09 while Mian Nawaz Sharif submitted Rs 20 lakh as income tax. While talking to Dunya News programme Tonight With Najam Sethi, Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that his familys income in 2008-09 was Rs 4 crore and they paid Rs 7 million tax. He said that everybody should have to pay tax to increase government revenue. He said that no loans of his family were written off.
