Once again, a three-day gas load shedding has begun in Faisalabad today due to which 450 industrial units have been shut down. Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has called a meeting on Monday regarding gas load shedding in industrial sector.The meeting will be attended by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Minister Naveed Qamar along with representatives of Sui Southern, Sui Northern and APTMA. Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Shairf has reservations upon the gas load shedding for industrial sector in Punjab. While on the other side, gas supply for all factories of Faisalabad region will remain suspended from 18th December till 20th December. The gas officials state that due to increasing demand of gas in Punjab, shortfall has increased and this schedule of suspending gas supply in factories for three days and CNG stations for two days will also continue in January.
