Expensive lantern gifted by China reaches Karachi

The installation process of the lantern will get complete by Nov 30

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The expensive lantern especially gifted by China has reached Karachi and which will soon be fixed inside Mazar-e-Quaid.

The head of administrative board of Mazar-e-Quaid, Muhammad Arif has revealed that the expensive lantern is a special gift from our dearest friend China exclusively for Mazar-e-Quaid and the installation of which will also be carried out by the Chinese engineers.

It has also been confirmed that the expensive lantern is worth 22 crore. In addition, 8.3kg gold has also been used in decoration of the lantern.

The installation process of the lantern will get complete by Nov 30.

It is also pertinent to mention that China also gifted a lantern for Mazar-e-Quaid in 1970.
