Hub attack: Teams dispatched after army chief's order, reports ISPR

Summary Order of immediate action was given by the army chief: ISPR

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rescue teams of the army have been dispatched for Hub of Balochistan on orders of Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif after a terror attack killed at least 44 persons and injured over 110.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that 65 ambulances and six teams of medics of Pakistan Army were on way to Hub where a blast in Shah Noorani shrine proved to be one of the deadliest in the ongoing year.

Home Minister, Sarfraz Bugti stated that a control room was set up to monitor the situation.

Reportedly, there is no major hospital nearby except for initial treatment facility and thus the wounded would be shifted to hospitals in Karachi where state of emergency have been imposed.

Army s assistance is required as there is no major medical facility nearby and the victims have to be shifted to Karachi.
