PHOOL NAGAR (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said on Saturday that the political future of government’s opponents would ‘die’ soon.
The premier addressed a rally in Phool Nagar today where he lambasted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) which maintains government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.
Nawaz Sharif said that the opposition was concerned over government’s progress as it exposed claims of other political parties.
Apparently referring to PTI, the premier said that government’s opposition never served jail time for stand over democracy and betterment of the state unlike leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The opposition was in fact a part of dictator’s referendum, the premier said.
Nawaz Sharif also claimed that PML-N would complete the five-year tenure before going on to secure another tenure after that. He said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government was disrespecting the mandate handed to them by the people in General Elections 2013.
The world has acknowledged progress of the country, PM asserted adding that by 2018, power outages would be eliminated and tariff would further be made people-friendly.
The premier announced establishing technical college in the area and construction of a highway that would connect Phool Nagar with motorway.
PM Nawaz also announced different development packages worth millions of Rupees.
