The development came in as crackdown continued in the twin cities against protesters belonging to PTI and Awami Muslim League (AML). Tear gas shells were also fired by Islamabad police outside residence of Imran Khan in Bani Gala.
Imposition of Section-144 was exercised on Thursday in wake of PTI’s warning of paralyzing the federal capital on November 2 lest the premier, Nawaz Sharif presents himself for accountability.
Workers of the political organisation that is pushing to hold Nawaz Sharif accountable for his alleged un-accounted for wealth clashed several times with law enforcement agencies at Imran Khan Chowk through the day.
