A meeting of PML-N was held in Islamabad today in which the party leaders gave consideration to rejecting RGST Bill in the National Assembly while the party reorganization was also on the agenda of the meeting. Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif presided over the meeting and said that institutional stability is required in the country instead of autocratic rule. Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan, Khawaja Asif, Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Ghous Ali Shah and other central leaders participated in the meeting. Rejection of RGST Bill was also considered during the meeting while the party analyzed the possibilities of contacting other parties on the issue. All the provincial organizers of the party submitted their reports on the structural reorganization of PML-N. Addressing the meeting Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that he feels satisfied to see the parliament becoming stronger and stabler. He also said that if the decisions are taken by the parliament it would increase the strength of institutions and this would, in turn, strengthen democracy in the country.
