Summary Women and children protesting against the demolition of Al-Jannat Trust's boundary walls by LDA.
(Dunya News) – Boundary walls of Al-Jannat Trust, a house to forsaken women and a school to needy children, have been demolished by Lahore Development Authority (LDA) without any prior notice to the administration and its residents.
LDA claims of not having contemplated any illegal action and the razing has been done in accordance with the law.
However, the Trust’s administration avows that they were not contacted or informed prior to the pulling down of the boundary walls. Students and residents have equally protested against this action.
