Three-day urs of Abdullah Shah Ghazi begins in Karachi
A large number of devotees from around the country are attending the three-day urs.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The 1,286th annual Urs of Sufi Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi begun in Karachi on Friday.
Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad offered Fateha at the shrine and laid floral wreath on it.
Deputy Mayor Karachi Arshad Vohhra was also present on the occasion.
The shrine was washed late night and the urs ceremonies were initiated officially by Governor Sindh at Fajr.

While talking to media, Governor Sindh said that to eliminate the scourge of terrorism and extremism, Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s message of love and peace had to be resurrected.
A large number of devotees from around the country are attending the three-day urs.
Strict security arrangements are in place to avert any untoward incident.
