KARACHI (Dunya News) – A bill pertaining to restoration of suspended employees on Thursday has been approved across the Sindh.
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs presented the bill in Sindh Assembly urging to restore the position of as many as 619 workers who got fired during 1997 to 2006.
It was also demanded to give the employees salaries and benefits.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Murad Ali Shah said that Benazir Bhutto gave jobs to the workers on merit but they were expelled from their posts due to political revenge.
On the other hand, Functional League leader Nusrat Sahar Abbasi opposed the bill and said that it would not help anyone.
