PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has completed preparation to hold local bodies elections today (Tuesday) in 14 districts of Khyber Bakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Dunya News reported.
The elections will be held on 35 seats across the province for which the Election Commission has issued symbols to the candidates.
According to ECP, elections will be held on 35 seats in Peshawar, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, Karak, Lakky Marwat, Mardan, Charsadda, Dir, Bunair, Abbottabad, Manshera and Swabi.
Tight security arrangements have been made for today’s elections. At least 21 polling stations out of 38 in Peshawar have been declared highly sensitive.
