NAB to hold SAARC conference over corruption

Summary Corruption, cancer research, mutual cooperation in prosecution would be discussed

Islamabad (Dunya News) – Chaudhry Qamar Zaman Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) revealed that SAARC anti-corruption conference would be held on 26th and 27th September in Islamabad.

At the conference, issues such as causes of corruption, cancer research, mutual cooperation in prosecution on international level and exchange of information would be discussed in detail. Later on, a combined action plan would also be devised at the meeting.

India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Afghanistan have agreed to be part of the conference and Secretary General SAARC would also be present at the meeting.
