THATTA (Dunya News) – A 50-megawatt wind power project will be setup in Jhimpir area of Thatta district in Sindh with the mutual cooperation of Pakistan and Iran.
According to Nepra, permission has been sought from regulatory body to produce 50-megawatt power from the project worth $13 crore.
The production from the project is expected in October 2017.
Experts say that while utilizing wind and solar power, not only cheap electricity can be produced but environmental pollution can also be minimized.
According to estimation, 50,000MW electricity can be produced from wind energy.
