ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Aitzaz Ahsan and Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani on Saturday expressed their anger at the government over a number of issues including Kalabagh Dam and the unjust distribution of funds, reported Dunya News.

While addressing the ceremony organised to mark the 44th foundation day of the Senate, Raza Rabbani criticised the government over the Kalabagh Dam issue and stated that if the government intended to develop the dam, it should use the forum of the Council of Common Interests (CCI), further enquiring that why was a certain bureaucrat writing in favour of the Kalabagh Dam project.

Opposition leader in the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan criticised the government over the matter that the developmental budget for Lahore was greater than that of Balochistan

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senator Mushahidullah Khan and former Senate Chairman Nayyar Bukhari emphasised upon strengthening the federation, supremacy of the constitution and all institutions functioning while staying within their limits.
