Riots erputed in Chaman against the assassination of central leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) Sardar Jilani Khan and the infuriated crowd set four NATO oil tankers ablaze which also resulted in many nearby shops burning in fire, Dunya News reported on Saturday. After the breaking of news of the assassination of Sardar Jilani Khan, who was the central leader of ANP as well as Chief of the Washa Zai tribe, riots erupted in the city of Chaman while the daily activities paralyzed completely. All commercial areas were closed after the incident. Infuriated people not only set four NATO oil tankers ablaze but also burnt tyres and blocked the roads. As a result a complete traffic jam was witnessed in the city.
