Summary Jafaria Disaster Cell, Ansar Burney Trust step forward to wipe out garbage from city within 15 days
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Welfare organisations step forward for the city’s cleanliness after campaign initiated by Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah to wipe out all the garbage in the city within the span of three days turned out to ineffective, reported Dunya News.
After the CM’s campaign failed, Jafaria Disaster Cell and Ansar Burney Trust stepped forward to clean the city within 15 days. Members of the welfare organisations stated that they shall remove garbage from the areas where the locals will require them to do so.
Welfare organisations have also gotten access to trucks and heavy machinery on rent for the purpose of removing garbage. The campaign was launched by removing garbage from Numaish Chowrangi and the adjacent areas of Soldier Bazar.
