Summary Action be taken against those who harassed me and my children, Dr Uzma to Shehbaz Sharif
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s sister Dr Uzma on Sunday wrote an application to Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif demanding an inquiry into the protocol related issues, reported Dunya News.
Dr Uzma stated in the application that the police being unaware about the entry of an armed convoy in the city under the cover of ‘protocol’ hinted towards the incapability of the administration.
She further stated that Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Amin Wains tried to protect Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Asim Gujjar while he addressed a press conference in Gujjar’s residence.
Dr Uzma demanded that it should be brought to light that to whom did the protocol belong to and which individuals were part of it.
Dr Uzma stated that the persons who harassed her and her children should be apprehended, further stating that instead of inquiring Asim Gujjar about the incident, police officials were providing him protection.
PTI Chairman’s sister demanded that inquiry be carried out against individuals who travelled with illegal protocol.
