Naegleria claims life of 30-years-old in Karachi
Zahid was brought to hospital few days back but breathed his last on Friday
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Mohammad Zahid, 30, on Friday died in a private hospital after suffering from naeglaria. According to the provincial health department, this was the first death reported in the ongoing year because of the disease, reported Dunya News.
Zahid was brought to the hospital a few days back but breathed his last on Friday after battling against the disease.
Sindh government formed a committee comprising of heads of different departments in order to ensure that naeglaria does not spread in the city and also to make sure that water supplied in the city contained sufficient amount of chlorine.
