As the dead body of MQM member Dr. Imran Farooq reaches Karachi, all the transport will remain suspended today; where as all exams being held at DOW University of Health Sciences have also been postponed.In various areas of Karachi, 2 persons were injured and 2 buses were set ablaze in different incidents of firing and violence; where as shops and trading centers were shut down before time in the areas such as Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, Abul Hassan Isfahani Road, Dhoraji, Tariq Road and Saddar. Petrol Pumps have also been shut down all around the city. Police and rangers have increased their patrolling frequency in the city. President of Transport Union Karachi Syed Irshad Hussain Bokhari told Dunya News that on the occasion of Dr. Imran Farooqs dead body arriving in Karachi, all public transport will remain suspended throughout the city. While on the other side, Pro-Vice Chancellor of DOW University of Health Sciences Dr. Omer Farooq told that all exams which were to be held today have been postponed and new dates will be announced later.
